When we first introduced the Taylor bag, its woven texture sparked a beautiful, ongoing conversation with so many of you. Your love for that signature texture brought an inspiring challenge to our design studio: How do we evolve this beloved weave into a new silhouette that handles the chaotic, beautiful rhythm of modern urban life?

We didn’t want to just chase a trend or replicate past success. We spent six months in a quiet, relentless pursuit of balance—tweaking proportions, testing leather tempers, and refining functionality.

The result is the anchor of our 2026 Spring/Summer Collection: The Aetherwit.

The Fine Line Between Shape and Substance

True design intellectualism lives in the details you might not notice at first glance, but feel instantly upon touch. To build a bag that effortlessly transitions from a high-stakes meeting to a relaxed weekend, our team obsessed over a few core structural choices:

• The Perfect Equilibrium of Leather: One of our greatest challenges was finding the right leather temper. If the leather is too stiff, it loses the sensory richness of the weave; if it is too soft, the bag loses its presence and collapses. We ultimately selected a perfectly balanced, medium-soft calfskin. It retains a crisp, architectural silhouette while offering that slouchy, tactile luxury that ages beautifully with you.
• The Anatomy of Practicality: We meticulously calculated the dimensions for a truly functional daily size. It is engineered to carry your fluid realities—easily fitting your phone, cardholder, and favorite cosmetics—without ever looking overstuffed or bulky.
• The Grace of the Adjustable Strap: Versatility shouldn't feel like an afterthought. We designed a fully adjustable shoulder strap that allows the Aetherwit to shift seamlessly from a commanding top-handle to a relaxed, hands-free crossbody or shoulder bag.
• The Protective Foundation: Underneath its poetic design lies sharp, protective pragmatism. We added discreet bottom studs (rivets) to the base of the bag. This structural addition ensures that wherever your day takes you—from café tables to airport lounges—your premium leather stays elevated and pristine.

Why "Aetherwit"?

The name reflects the dualities of the modern woman. "Aether" represents the ethereal, the elevated, and the pursuit of pure aesthetic beauty. "Wit" grounds it in intellect, adaptability, and sharp, everyday pragmatism.
